Looks like Apple and Fox studios have decided to go ahead with the plan to include an iTunes version on all new DVD’s. After spending several hours ripping and converting my DVD’s to play on my iPod touch (with limited success), I for one would not mind spending a couple more dollars for a DVD that also contains an iTunes version.
What do think the chances are that rentals from NetFlix or Blockbuster will have the extra feature? Can you save them to your hardrive?
Does anyone know what sizes will be included - 320 x 240 iPod or 480 x 320 iPhone/Touch or both?

Too make a really long story short (simply because it’s late on the east coast) you may soon be able to get the option to purchase a DVD bundled with an iTunes copy for and extra $3 to $4 premium.
Being a NetFlix customer I don’t buy very many DVD’s so ripping and converting a couple here or there is not a big deal. If they dropped the premium to let’s say $1 - $2 I think it would be worth it. It’s just when you get into the price range of my morning coffee I have a problem.
So the question is would you be willing to shell out the extra coin for a bundled version or would you rather just convert the DVD yourself?
