Get a virtual guitar on your “Jailbroken” iPhone / Touch by launching the installer then choose sources, and add http://podmap.net/apps to your repositories. The PocketGuitar is located under the “Toys” category.

As you might have guessed it there is already a couple of YouTube demostrations online and I have to say the application is pretty impressive. Now all we need are drums and a keyboard and we can a virtual concert performed using only an iPhone!

11 Jan 08 iPhone / Touch SlingPlayer on the way!

We can file this one under 99% confirmed as a senoir source from Sling was quoted saying “iPhone and iPod Touch are OS X devices and we can write OS X apps with our eyes closed. It’s coming.” Now because live TV cannot be streamed effectively using Edge data speeds customers will have to rely on a Wifi connection when using the SlingPlayer.

Unfortunately the source remained tight lipped on when the application would be available, but since both MacWorld and Apples SDK release are right around the corner one can only hope it will be sooner than later.
